An honesty-shop wine rack
Our curated, stocked wine rack works on an honesty-shop basis — choose a bottle you fancy and settle up for what you enjoy. A little something for that first evening, or a slow supper in the garden.

We're a family, not a hotel chain — but we love sharing the places and people that make this corner of Cornwall special. Chef at the house, wagyu put by at the butcher, flowers on the table, balloons up before the birthday girl wakes.

The freezer is stocked with quick but gourmet meals from Fee’s Deli, ready to feed the family on the night you arrive. Good food, very little fuss, and no need to head straight back out to the shops.
You’ll also find cuts from Philip Warren in the freezer, for when you fancy firing up the barbecue the next day. The wine and freezer selection share our honesty-shop approach — help yourself and pay for what you use.
Someone else cooking in your kitchen, for a birthday, an anniversary or simply the night you all arrive tired. Anything from a relaxed supper to a full tasting menu.
Our friends at the butcher in Rock will put aside the good stuff — wagyu, dry-aged rib, a whole rack of Cornish lamb — reserved in your name for the day you arrive.
Fresh flowers on the kitchen table, balloons and a cake for a birthday, fizz on ice for an anniversary. Just tell us the date and the name.
The Ainsworth restaurants, Rick Stein's, Outlaw's and St Enodoc all book up months ahead. Give us your dates early and we'll do what we can.
Fridge filled before you arrive — milk, bread, local butter, beer from Bluntrock and a bottle of something good — so nobody has to find a supermarket at 8pm.
Surf lessons at Polzeath, paddleboards at Rock, a sauna slot booked on the beach, a spa afternoon, or a babysitter so the grown-ups get one dinner alone.
A few thoughtful touches, and a stay that feels entirely yours.

There's no menu of packages and no booking system. Send us a note with your dates and what you have in mind, and we'll come back with what's possible and what it costs. We’ll confirm arrangements and any supplier charges with you before anything is booked.
